i took the photos on location and then modified as i saw fit

amsterdam train station with hundreds and hundreds of bicycles parked outside
even in the cozy lanes and canals of amsterdam cartman still stares down at me!
And here we have philadelphia's city hall looking somewhat phallic i suppose - i could have picked another color than pink i guess :)
Some of my "art" :)
and here is Rainbow Mountain

Main lodge and restaurant.
the pool - photo from early march when it wasnt full yet
and again the pool which was lovely in midsummer last time i was there
and this is the bar downstairs and the dance club upstairs - yes - somehow it all works - there is a fully functional nightclub in that barn ::
matt's trip to a.c. last week
From Borgata - the new "Water Tower" with Harrah's in the background
the crazy higway interchange/entrance complete with insta-forest
and finally the good old original boardwalk that inspired the world
xtina looks just like christina!
naked campground in the poconos - the woods
I went to "The Woods" for the first time a few weeks back. It's a nudist/gay/lezzie campground. You aren't required to strip down but you are to understand that others may. I didn't - not particularly out of modesty but on account of the temperature - very low 70's.
At any rate - I had a good time. Me N and T went - T invited me. It was nice, though our trip home was a bit complicated.
As you can see - pretty pretty. I will post some pics of my OTHER gay pocono "campground" - Rainbow Mountain in the near future - though I was last there mid-summer of this year, before I checked out the Woods.
The Woods is much more camp-like. Rainbow mountain having a lodge and cabins etc. But I enjoyed both. This log had an adorable little chipmunk on it just a second before i took the pic - i was a bit too slow :(
Me and xtina rode bikes to the river near my house
This is a pic of Christina pretending she is not deathly afraid of the bees that were buzzing all around these purple flowers.
this is the inlet - where occasional small boats will park to fish or whatnot.
uncle matt contemplates....... something?
uncle matt has a ciggie.
Xtina had an art day!
i tried to say to leave it alone at the original subtle version but even the final version is fun. it's based on a photo a friend of her's took.
i have been trying to find a nice work-around to make collapsable posts in blogger
you know - like - it gives the first 100 words or whatever you decide and then it has a little "read more" link after that. seems it's rather complex as it stands now and i have tried a couple of suggested methods but none of them has worked so far :( can blogger itself please incorporate this as a basic blogger feature? shouldnt be too hard, in the posts settings it could say something like "limit homepage post to 100 words" or whatever - then it would automatically add a read more link. i love blogger but it is a major missing feature. i noticed the need for it after i added all that extra text to the DDR National Anthem article and wished i could collapse it. Well, maybe in the next update to blogger?

The SHADOW CARDS are evocative words and images that randomly generate food for thought.

Sounds potentially corny but i thought it was a nice way to shake up the cortex and get some new ideas.

Who is the “falling man” in this historic picture from 9-11?
"Who is the “falling man” in this historic picture from 9-11? And should we try to answer this question or avert our eyes? Click the image for a classic Esquire piece republished on the web for the anniversary of 9-11. When should we “bear witness” and when should we respect the privacy of victims? Very interesting read."
