you can hear it at it's most extreme in Cher's "do you believe in life after love?" (funny how two things can take me directly back to a specific time and place; a song and/or a smell. this song places me in the midst of a particular bar in Montreal around the time this song came out, i even can see the shorts i was wearing....)
